Ralph Boggs

Ralph Boggs, 84 of Lewisburg, OH died July 13, 2016. Born on July 25, 1931 in Olin, Jackson Co., KY, son of the late, Jesse & Pearl (Wilson) Boggs. 1949 graduate of Annville Institute in Annville, KY. Ralph retired in 1994 from Duriron in Dayton, OH after 32 years and was a Preble County Farmer for 46 years. Member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton, OH and attended the Calvary Baptist Church in West Alexandria, OH. Ralph proudly served in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Boggs and Don Boggs; sisters, Wilma Wilson and Jo Pat Johnson.

Survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Jo (McGee) Boggs; children, Larry (Kathy) Boggs and Victor (Holly) Boggs all of Lewisburg, OH; grandsons, Tyler and Wade; brothers, Wilson, Ed, Earl, Bert, and Bob Boggs; sisters, Agnus Young, Mary Lou Davis, Doris Taylor, Peggy Grable and Jessie Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Fred Hill and Pastor David Spears officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery with military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Visitation is from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home in Lewisburg, OH.
