Rachel Ann Gabbard

Rachel A. Gabbard, 78 of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Camden, Ohio, died, Friday, January 29, 2021 at Maple Gardens in Eaton. She was born on October 11, 1942 in Laurel County, KY, daughter of the late Raleigh and Dorothy M. (Reams) Collier. She moved to Ohio in 1962 and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for several nursing homes in Butler County. A resident of Preble County since 1998, Rachel loved to quilt, draw, and crochet, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her sister, Eva Jeanette Todd in 2015 and her brother, Charles Alfred Collier in 2019. 

Survived by her children, Patricia Ann Gabbard, Michael Lee Gabbard and Pamela Sue (Scott) Feltner; father of her children, Keith Edwin Gabbard; brothers, Rodney Albert and William Samuel Collier; grandchildren, Christina Michelle Gabbard, Kyle Joseph Tyler Holbert, Destiny Gabbard and Brittany Gabbard; great grandchildren, Landry Holbert, Tyler Gabbard and Ava Michelle Gabbard; nieces and nephews. 

A Service will be held at the convenience of the family with the date and time to be announced later. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes, Inc. in Eaton.
