R. Louise Welch - Hampton

R. "LOUISE" WELCH - HAMPTON, 96, of Lewisburg, OH, died Friday, September 11, 2009 in Eaton, OH. Born on April 21, 1913 in Scott County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Arthur & Emma Lou (Fleenor) Ridgeway. She had worked in food service at Vandalia Public Schools, Lion Uniform in Dayton and Automatic Retailers of America in Vandalia. She was a former resident of Brookhaven and a member of the Preble County Senior Citizens.

Preceded in death by her First Husband: F. Everett Welch in 1965, Second Husband: Cecil Hampton in 1993; Sister: Lucille Nill; Brothers: William, Clifton C. & Ernest Ridgeway.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Tom & Virginia Welch, Lewisburg, OH, Walter & Shirley Welch, Somerset, KY; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Joanne & Douglas Perkins, Dublin, OH, Carole & Don Lane, Dallas, TX, Patti Lynn & Jack Miller, Brookville, OH; 15 Grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, Ohio 45320, with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Dayton Memorial Park, Dayton, OH at 1:00 p.m.. Family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
