R. GERALDEAN “JERRY” SCHREEL, age 87, of Lewisburg, OH, died Wednesday January 25, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born January 23, 1919 in Darke County OH, the daughter of the late James H. & Cora M. (Lanthrop) Ludy. She was a 1937 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School; member Lewisburg United Methodist Church; Ideal Chapter #293 Order of the Eastern Star of Lewisburg; Lewisburg Fire Department Auxilliary; Antique Automobile Club of America - Southern Ohio Chapter. Preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Thurman E. Schreel in 2004. Brothers: Paul C. Ludy in 1964 and James Lowell Ludy in 1998. Sisters: Irene Walker in 1967 and Opal Fox in 1977.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law: C. Jane & W. Kent Baker of Lewisburg, OH. Son and daughter-in-law: J. Fred & Nora Schreel of Dayton, OH. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Service Saturday, January 28, 2006 - 10:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Michael D. Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends Friday January 27, 2006 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
