Phyllis I. Turner

Phyllis I. (Knox) Delk Turner age 94 of New Paris, OH, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her residence. Born on December 4, 1928, in Preble County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Olis & Anna (Hankey) Knox. Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris and the New Paris American Legion Auxiliary.

        Preceded in death by her first husband: George W. Delk in 1963 and second husband of 51 years: Herbert R. Turner in 2019; brothers: Robert and Richard Knox; sisters: Miriam Brown and Beatrice Lawrence.

Survived by; Sons: Mike (Lara) Turner, Ronald (Lorena) Delk and Kenneth (Teresa) Delk; Daughter: Linda (Larry) Wood; Sisters: Doris Smallwood and Carol Bowen both of New Paris, Ohio; Brother: Paul Eugene Knox of New Paris, Ohio. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great and great great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

        Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday August 15, 2023, at St. Paul Methodist Church, 301 E Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Michael Shaeffer and Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating. The Interment will be held in Spring Lawn in New Paris.
