Phyllis J. Cummins

Phyllis J. Cummins, 78, of Lewisburg, OH, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 23, 1937 in Germantown, OH, daughter of the late Raymond & Lucille J. (McFarland) Crowe. Phyllis was a 1955 graduate of Brookville, OH and for over 20 years, she was the owner and operator of the Second Chance Consignment Shop in Lewisburg. She was a member of the Victory Christian Church in Lewisburg. Phyllis was a very artistic person but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald L. Cummins in 2014; brothers, Doug, Terry Lynn, and Donny Ray Crowe and sister, Juanita Maria "Ri Ri" Crowe.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianna & Robert Myers of Lewisburg; son, Robert "Bob" Cummins of New Carlisle, OH; sisters, Mary Francis Steck of Englewood, OH and Carolyn Sue Morabito of New York; grandchildren, Audrey (Chris) Shapiro, Carrie Ann (Gary) Hollingsworth, Alex (Amanda) Myers and Rachel (Pete) Chaney; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Victory Christian Church, 200 W. Dayton St., Lewisburg with Pastor Bill Crary officiating. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Roselawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH.
