Phyllis J. Brown-Schweizer

PHYLLIS J. BROWN-SCHWEIZER, age 73 of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 2, 1929 in West Elkton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Viola (Shipp) Lucas. A life long resident of Preble County she was a 1947 graduate of West Elkton High School. She was a retired Chief Deputy Clerk for the Preble County Municipal Court and was currently a Volunteer Coordinator for the Preble County Council on Aging. Member of the West Elkton United Methodist Church, West Elkton, Ohio; Board member for the American Cancer Society- Preble County Unit; member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Eaton, Ohio, and a volunteer for the Preble County Pork Festival. Preceded in death by Brother: Lauvon Lucas in 1994.

Survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law: Danny and Sheila Brown of Morganton, North Carolina; Daughter and Son-in-law: Paula and Dale Farmer of Eaton, Ohio; Brother and Sister-in-law: Logan and Priscilla Lucas of Trenton, Ohio; Sister-in-law: Doris Lucas of Trenton, Ohio; Grandchildren: Dionne Addison, Dyan Brown, Derek Brown, Danielle Maldonado, Erin Brown and Allison Brown; Great Grandchildren: Brandon Brown, Carmen Addison, Jordyn Addison and Ryan Maldonado.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 - 11:00 A.M. at the West Elkton United Methodist Church-St.Rte 503 South - West Elkton, Ohio with Pastor Tony Denes officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery- West Elkton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio.
