Phyllis J. Alspaugh

Phyllis J. Alspaugh, 83, of Brookville, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Maria Joseph Care Center in Dayton. Born on January 8, 1933 in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Catherine (Bradley) Urich. A 1951 graduate of Arcanum High School, Phyllis' greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years. Ned T. Alspaugh in 2011and brother, Benson Urich in 1995.

Survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Shirley A. Hayslett and Cindy and Scott Smuzok; son, Charles Dean Alspaugh; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Rev. David O. Justis will officiate. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
