Philip M. Nelson

Philip M. Nelson, age 70, of Sebring, FL, formerly of New Paris and London, OH, died Monday January 13, 2003 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Born on April 15, 1932 in New Paris, OH, he was the son of the late Willard K. & Ethel M. (Mulnix) Nelson. A 1950 Jefferson High School graduate, he served from 1951 to 1954 in the U.S. Navy. He was a former Postmaster and Rural Mail carrier in New Paris, OH. Member of the Fellowship Lodge #106 Free & Accepted Masons and a Charter Member of the Jefferson Township Boosters Club, both of New Paris, OH. In 1974 he moved from New Paris, OH to London, OH. He owned and operated several PIP Printing Stores in the Columbus, OH area until he moved to Florida two years ago.

Survived by his wife of 48 years: Helen L. (Ford) Nelson; Son and Daughter-in-law: Brian F. & Gretchen Nelson of Ft Myers, Fl; Daughter and Son-in-law: Natalie S. & Jerome Robison of Hilliard, OH; Brother: Richard Nelson of Edgewater, FL; Sisters: Charlotte Starr of Edgewater, Fl, Dottie Brown of New Paris, OH and Kristine Vaughn of Fairborn, OH. Two Grandchildren:Audra & Kyle Sebastian.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 25, 2003 at 3:00P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH with family and friends officiating.
