Peggy L. Lee, age 65 of New Paris, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Born on October 9, 1946, daughter of Gene R. & Mary C. (Kirchgessner) Webb. Peggy graduated in 1964 from Webster Williamsburg High School in Webster, Indiana and in 1981 from Indiana University East with an Associate Degree in Accounting. Peggy retired in 2010 after 40 years of service at Belden in Richmond, Indiana. Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris, Ohio and several Christian ministries which included, Richmond Area Emmaus, Torch Prison Ministries, Angel Tree Ministries, Klowns for the Kingdom, and Stephens Ministries.
Preceded in death by her father, Gene R. Webb in 2008.
Survived by husband of 37 years, Robert E. "Bob" Lee of New Paris, Ohio; daughters & son-in-law, Linda (Williams) & Roger Davis of Findlay, Ohio and Christina "Christi" Lee of Richmond, Indiana; mother, Mary C. Webb of Richmond, Indiana; siblings & spouses, Maryann Webb of Green Valley, Arizona, Patricia J. "Patty" & Mike Hall of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael & Rhonda Webb of Indiana and Rod & Toni Webb of Winchester, Virginia; granddaughters, Elaine & Natalie Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 301 East Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. John Allen and Pastor Pam Weaver officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Paris Ohio Food Bank, PO Box 194, New Paris, Ohio 45347 or Reid Hospital, Hospice Care, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, Indiana 47374.
