Paul J. Frist

PAUL J. “JACK” FRIST, age 82 of New Paris, Ohio, died Friday, August 5, 2005 in New Paris. Born on December 6, 1922 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Paul Howard & Genavieve Violet (Jelly) Frist. He retired in 1987 after 12 years of service at Hoffco in Richmond, Indiana, a 1940 Jefferson Township High School graduate, a WW II U.S. Army Air Force veteran, Member of St. John’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus and and Druids both of Richmond. Preceded in death by Wife: Helen L. (Hockett) Frist in 1993; Sisters: Reba Meyers and Barbara Harshman.

Survived by Daughter & Son-in-law: Judith A. & Dave Johnson, New Paris, Ohio; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Paul Richard “Dick” & Dorothy Frist, New Paris, Ohio, Thomas A. & Teresa Frist, New Paris, Ohio, Jack E. & Porn Frist of Arizona, Dennis Michael & Vickie Frist, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert & Carol Frist of Florida; Special Friend: Emma Lou Braun, Richmond, Indiana; 19 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 - 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at St. John’s Catholic Church - North Spring Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 from 5 - 8 P.M.
