Paul J. Brawley

PAUL J. BRAWLEY, age 79 of New Paris, Ohio died, Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Born on April 27, 1928 in New Paris, Ohio, he was the son of the late William L. & Edith (Crawford) Brawley. Paul retired in 1992 after 25 years at Ahaus Tool in Richmond, Indiana. He had formerly worked for Natco, Montgomery Ward and Rodefelds. Paul was a 1946 Jefferson Twp. High School graduate, member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris having served as a trustee, Honorary member of the New Paris Kiwanis, Charter Member of the Jefferson Twp. Boosters Club, a Jefferson Twp. school bus driver and coached girls softball. Preceded by Half Brother: Marion Ross.

He is survived by his Wife of 59 years: Jane (DeBoo) Brawley; Daughters: Kathy P. Brawley, Chico, California, Kay (Randy) Johnson, Eaton, Ohio; Aunt: Frances Clark, Eaton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Scott (Tina) Johnson, Centerville, Indiana, Kari (Joshua) Dunbar, New Paris, Ohio, Natalie Brawley, Chico, California; Dr. Emmanuel Mareus, Limbe, Haiti; Great Grandchildren: Michael & Gabriel Dunbar, Jackson Johnson and Jane Mareus. Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Paul United Methodist Church - 301 East Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. LaDonna Clary officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2007 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to service on Monday.
