Patty Elnora Turner

Patty Elnora (Jeanes) Turner, age 79, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her home in Richmond, Indiana. Patty was born on March 9, 1934 in New Paris, Ohio daughter of the late, Floyd Elsworth & Irene Aldine (Wehrley) Jeanes. She was a 1952 graduate from Boston High School in Boston, Indiana. She married Ralph W. Turner on May 17, 1952 in Richmond, Indiana. Patty was a loving wife, devoted mother and she loved being with her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Ralph W. Turner in 2008; infant daughter; infant son; three brothers, Eugene, Marvin, and Pete Jeanes; four sisters, Winnie Winebrenner, Judith Groves, Beverly Joan Riggs, and Kay Jeanes.

Survived by her children, Karen & Dennis Hopkins of Georgia, Billie Ann Turner of Richmond, Indiana, and Brian & Barb Turner of Richmond, Indiana; brother, Hank & Violet Jeans of Fountain City, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Marceil Jeanes and Carolyn Jeanes; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Smeigh (George Heraghty), Aaron & Stephanie Smeigh, Nick Turner, Ben Turner (Aly Baker), April & Rob Kurtz, Emily Bergfield, Tom Pentecost; seven great grandchildren, Jenna & Sean, Dakota, Austin, Bailey, Sophia, Chris, and Zay; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Charlie Black officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home in New Paris.
