Pattie Eileen Louk

Pattie Eileen Louk, 82, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 13, 1938 in Xenia, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Evert and Amanda Eva (Butts) Varvel. Pattie was a retired Dietary Cook for St. Vincent Hospital in Winchester, Indiana. Pattie’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She loved to play cards, especially poker, put puzzles together and collect beautiful angels. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Earl Edward “Sonny” McClellan in 1957 and Gerald D. “Jerry” McClellan in 2013; grandson: Brandon Lee McClellan; brothers: Virgil, Raymond, Ralph, William, Newton, Harry, James F., and Melvin E.; sisters, Hazel Lewis, Loretta Varvel, Wahnetta M. Grillot, Betty G. Conrad, Ruth E. Rensch, and Barbara J. Melling.   

Pattie is survived by her children: Shirley (Robert) Commons, Ron McClellan, Fred (Tessa) McClellan and Tammy Jean (Donnie) Reagan; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Crowell, Dara  Commons (Jeff Chapman), Kindra McClellan, Sarah (Yancy) Slater, Stephan McClellan, Dalton McClellan, Jacob McClellan, Kody (Liz) Starks, Chassity (Autumn) Starks, Kaitlyn (Aaron) Miller and Shandra (Lucas) Randle; great grandchildren, Brie, Owen, Gracelin, Hunter, Sean, Trinity, Abbigail, Riley, Makayla, Mackenzie, Ryker, Ranger, Drew, Brenner, and Leo; brother: Larry Varvel, Numerous nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
