Patricia L. Gilbert

PATRICIA L. "PATTY" GILBERT, 82, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at McCullough-Hyde Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. Patty was born on May 12, 1930 in Richmond, Indiana, daughter of the late Everett & Anna C. (Hadley) Howell. She was a 1948 graduate of Richmond High School, attended Earlham College and Indiana University East in Richmond and was the owner and operator of Shawnee Molds and Camden Concrete Products. She was a 63 year member of the Beta Sigma Phi-Alpha Master Chapter in Richmond and was a member of the Concord United Church of Christ in Eaton.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Everett J. "AB" Gilbert in 2010; son, John Michael Gilbert in 1977; brother, William T. Howell in 2012 and sister, Bernice Painter in 1955.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri L. Sebree of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Rachel (Ryan) Groff of Troy, Ohio; Elizabeth, Rebecca, Daniel and Nathan Sebree all of Dayton, Ohio; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Concord United Church of Christ, 2225 Concord-Fairhaven Rd., Eaton, Ohio with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Concord Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m., Saturday at the church.
