Ora K. Mills

Ora K. "Kenny" Mills, age 91, of New Paris, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 1, 1919 in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana the son of the late Lawson L. & Susan C. (Campbell) Mills. Kenny had served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during W.W. II and worked at the Dixon-Israel School as a Custodian and retired from Westvaco in Eaton in the 1980's. Life Member of the V.F.W. and attended the St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Paris, OH. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years: Carol Jane (Gentry) Mills in 2007; Brothers: John Burl Mills, Albert Mills, Harley "Dick" Mills and Walter Mills; Sisters: Florence Hawkins, Bessie Winters and Edna Knott.

Survived by Daughters & sons-in-law: Barbara & Robert Dungan of New Paris, OH and Gloria & Carleton Zwiesler of Eaton, OH; 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be Monday 11:00 AM, October 3, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Robert Dungan officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery Richmond, IN with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
