Ollie David Mead

Ollie David Mead, Jr., 66, of Richmond, IN, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Richmond. Born on January 15, 1948 in Middletown, OH, he was the son of the late Ollie D. & Dorothy J. (Mikesell) Mead, Sr. He had worked for Smith Dairy in Richmond for 20 years and was a member of the Fountain City Wesleyan Church.

Survived by his wife of 5 years: Debra C. (Jackson) Mead; Son: Jackie "J.D." Mead, Cincinnati, OH; Daughter: Michelle Lee Mead, Richmond, IN; Sisters: Saundra (Jack) Bastian, Piqua, OH and Cherie (Dennis) Kidder, Troy, OH; Grandchildren: Nathan Alexander Mead and Michael David Mead. Nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St. Lewisburg, OH with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
