Norman G. "Stormin Norman" Fouts, age 72, of West Alexandria, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Heartland of Eaton in Ohio. Born on March 11, 1935 in Drexel, Ohio he was the son of the late John Eddie & Elizabeth E. (Smith) Fouts. Norman was a 1953 graduate of Trotwood - Madison High School in Ohio and a 1957 graduate of General Motors Institute where he received a Bacholers Degree in Mechnical Engineering. He worked at Delco Products in Dayton, Ohio for four years. He had worked at the Ford Research Center in Dearborn, Michigan. Norman retired in 1988 from Ford Transmission Operations in Livonia, Michigan. Member of the Camden Church of God in Ohio. Holder of several automotive patents, Norman was an author, historian and avid motorcyclist.
Survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie Fouts of West Alexandria, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Sharon & Charles Taylor of Leesburg, Ohio; children, Kathryn E. Fouts of Tampa, Florida, John E. Fouts of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Douglas E. Fouts of Rothbury, Michigan, David E. Fouts of Southfield, Michigan, Victoria A. Ankney of Carlisle, Ohio, and Daniel Culbertson of Newport, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Ryan, Faerin, Ben, John Paul and Elizabeth; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Chapel in Woodside Cemetery, 1401 South Woodside Blvd., Middletown, Ohio with Pastor Curt Nies officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the chapel located at the cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Camden Pentecostal Church, 66 North Second Street, Camden, Ohio 45311.
