Norman "Fred" Powell

Norman "Fred" Powell, 85 of Eaton, OH died Friday, December 4, 2015 in Eaton. He was born on October 25, 1930 in Miltonville, OH, son of the late Stanley and Helen (Shafer) Powell. Norman was a self- employed carpenter for 60 years.

In addition to his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Powell and James L. Powell and sister, Betty Lou Powell.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon (Hawkey) Powell; children, Tammy (Chris) Johnson of Hagerstown, IN, Richard Powell and David Powell both of Connersville, IN; brothers, John (Sis) Powell and William (Joanne) Powell both of Lewisburg, OH, Thomas (Patty) Powell of West Alexandria, OH, Richard Powell of Farmersville, OH and Gerald (Patty) Powell of Massey, Ontario, Canada; sisters-in-law, Vickie Powell of Farmersville and Becky Powell of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Kristin, Heather, Jeremy, Lee Anna and Ashley; great grandchildren, Kayla, Chloe, Alivia and Ruby; nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH.
