Norma Schlotterbeck

Norma Schlotterbeck age 87, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Monday, August 17, 2009 in Lewisburg. Born on May 28, 1922 in Belmont County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late John O. & Eva L. (Pittman) Piatt. Norma retired after over 20 years of service from the U.S. Postal Service in Springfield, Ohio. Member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, Preble County Historical Society and several Quilting Clubs. She loved her family and friends very much.

Survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law: Christel & Richard Brooks of New Madison, OH.; Son & Partner: Seth Schlotterbeck & Robert Coates of Fairborn, OH; Son: Mark Schlotterbeck of Lewiston, Maine; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Stuart Schlotterbeck & Robin Harris of Pickerington, OH.; Daughter-In-Law: Wendy Schlotterbeck; Brothers: Johnny Piatt and Jerry (Holly) Piatt both of Narrowsburg, NY; George (Mary) Piatt of Ohio; Sister: Jean Piatt of Salem, MO; 6 Grandchildren: Claire (Robert) Williams; Seth Schlotterbeck, Hannah Schlotterbeck, Markus Schlotterbeck, Esther Schlotterbeck and Laura Alice Schlotterbeck. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Ash Williams and Leo Williams.

Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Lewisburg United Methodist Church - 3147 US Rt. 40 East - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt and Rev. Seth Schlotterbeck officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Internment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Debbie & Doug Rohrer, Roxy & Dennis Rohrer and their families for the care of Norma.
