Norma J. Thompson

NORMA J. THOMPSON, age 69 of Camden, OH, died Monday, February 1, 2010 in Elkhart, IN. Born on February 7, 1940 in West Elkton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Archie & Maude (Jones) Wright. Norma was an LPN and had worked at McCullough-Hyde Hospital, Camden Nursing Home and had cared for many people in the area with Home Health Care. She was a Camden High School graduate, member of the VFW in Camden, American Legion in Eaton and Camden and was part of the Creative Homemakers Extension in Elkhart, IN. She was an avid bowler.

Preceded in death by her Husband: James D. Thompson in 1995, Brother: Donald Wright.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Rhonda (Dale) Stevenson, Camden, OH; Sandy (James) Farrell, Elkhart, IN; Brothers: Larry Jerdon, Hamilton, OH, William Hilbert, Milton, FL; Aunt: Marjorie Jones, Somonauk, IL; Grandchildren: Tara (Josh) Moore, Elkhart, IN, Crystal (Mark) Schaffer, Camden, OH; Great Grandchildren: Gary, Jaylynn, Madison & Caleb Moore, Hayden & Ashlen Schaffer.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 5, 2010 at Nein – Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, OH with Rev. William Puckett officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
