Nettie P. Howard

Nettie P. Howard, age 75, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on December 20, 1932 in Scioto County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Edna Jenkins. She has lived in Preble County most all of her life.

Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years: Norman Ray Howard, Sr. in 1993; son Ricky David Howard in 1981; sister: Helen Salyers.

Survived by son & daughter-in-law: Norman R. Jr. & Beverly D. Howard of Eaton, OH. Brother: Lewis D. Jenkins of Lewisburg, OH; sisters: Lorraine McCormick of Covington, OH and Betty Secrest of Englewood, OH. Grandchildren: Olivia Howard-Dohner & Dan of Tulare, CA and Amy Howard of Eaton, OH. Several nieces and nephews.


Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Steve Cann officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens - West Alexandria, Oh. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
