Ned D. Blankenship

Ned D. Blankenship, 72 of Lewisburg, OH died suddenly on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born on November 13, 1941 in West Sonora, OH he was a 1961 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School and served in the U.S. Army. Member of the American Legion Post 213 of Lewisburg. He worked at P & R Specialties in Piqua since 1991 as a machinist tool and die maker. Ned was a dedicated husband and father who enjoyed working to provide for and set an example for his family. He loved to work with hands, whether it was working on cars, machines, or household repairs. He was a mister fix-it. Family and friends could always depend on him if they had a need. Preceded in death by his father: George T. Blankenship in 1967; Mother Mary Rosella (Lidecap) Blankenship in 1968; sister: Donna Samuels in 1990 and a brother: George Paul Blankenship in 2000.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years: Linda D. (McAlister) Blankenship; Children: Teresa L. Wysong and Jeff D. Blankenship both of Eaton, OH and Tammy D. Casolari of Goodyear, AZ; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers: Emmerson Lee Blankenship of Ithaca, OH and twin brother Neil Maurice Blankenship of New Lebanon, OH.
