N. Katherine Somers

N. KATHERINE SOMERS, age 88, of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Heartland of Eaton, Ohio. Born on March 14, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Milton & Laura (Gray) Lynn. She retired in 1978 from NATCO in Richmond, Indiana. She attended the Concord United Church of Christ near Eaton, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband: Robert Louis Somers in 1956; brothers: Bennie Lynn in 1986 and Cash Lynn in 2000; sisters: Mildred Pitman in 1998 and Chrystal Watters in 1967.

Survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Robert A. & Jane Somers of Eaton, Ohio; sister: Ruth Wolff of Florida; grandchildren: Robert L. (Onami) Somers, of Columbus, Ohio, Donald E. Somers of Eaton, Ohio, Richard A. (Susan Myers) Somers of Georgia & Cynthia J. (Dan Griffin) Somers of Colorado; great grandchildren: Nikita, Chase, Sierra, Jake and Cayden Somers. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Ronald L. Foulk officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
