Miriam E. Shuler

Miriam E. Shuler, age 80, of Camden, Ohio, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Vitas Hospice Butler County Care in Hamilton, OH. Born on August 12, 1926 in Miamisburg, Montgomery County, OH she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. & Pauline (Groby) Coyner. Miriam was a graduate of the College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL and was a Registered Nurse. She had worked at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, OH, Ft. Hamilton-Hughes Hospital in Hamilton, OH and was a Gardener at Stockslager’s in New Lebanon, OH. Member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eaton, OH and Cadet Nursing Corp of Middletown Hospital. She loved the outdoors and gardening. Preceded in death by husband: Don Shuler in 2003 and a sister: Jo Ann Heil.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law: Karen & Michal Christopher of Camden, OH; Granddaughters: Erin (Matt) Olson of San Antonio, TX and Sarah Jo Ellen Christopher of Abbeyille, Mississippi. Brother: James Coyner of Bountiful, UT.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street in Camden with Rev. John Place officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 1, 2006 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
