Minnie O Cox

MINNIE O. COX, age 66, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on October 4, 1937 in Hiltons, Virginia she was the daughter of the late George and Myra(McMurray) Carter. She had been a care giver in her own home and prior to her moving to Eaton 12 years ago had lived in the Lewisburg area. Member of Lewisburg First Missionary Baptist Church and attended the First Baptist Church of West Alexandria. Preceded in death by Son: Terry Cox in 1975; Brother: Cecil P. Carter and Sister: Ann McMurray Carter.

Survivors include Daughter and Son-in-law: Angela and Greg Kirk of Germantown, Ohio and Sisters and Brother-in-law: Mary Lena and Arvil Dean of Eaton, Ohio, Faye Woods of Churchill, Tennessee and Ruby Peters of Weber City, Virginia; Grandchildren: Tanner and Matthew.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. - Friday, June 4, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio 45338 with Rev. George Pennington officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery- Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8 :00 P.M. on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at the funeral home.
