The family of Michael(Mike) Hart would like to express our appreciation to all who assisted him after he was attacked and killed- the residents along North State Street in Ukiah, police and emergency personnel and hospital staff both in Ukiah and Santa Rosa.
Mike was a husband, father, son brother and uncle who was deeply loved. He had great plans for his future in California, which was just beginning. Mike was a very gentle, non-violent person, which makes the circumstances of his death even more tragic. Mike’s untimely death leaves a big hole in our hearts and in our family unit, one of whom is his 3 year old daughter who doesn’t understand where her “Papa” is. Our comfort is found in the knowledge that he is in heaven, eternally safe from the violence on this earth.
