Michael J. Ryan

Michael J. Ryan, 55 of New Paris, OH died Monday, December 7, 2015 at his residence. Born January 20, 1960 in Dayton, OH he was the son of Thaddeus Ryan and the late Dorothy (McClain) Ryan. Michael was the past owner and operator of Ryan's Carpet in New Paris, OH. He served with the U.S. Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve of Indiana. Member of the Sons of the American Legion in New Paris and past member of Moose Lodge in Richmond, IN.

Survived by his children: Aaron & Sarah Ryan and Brooke N. & Ronnie Johnson both of New Paris, OH and Renee D. & Nick Cooper of Richmond, IN; 7 grandchildren: Ellie, Ethan, Lilly, Paightyn, Aeryn, Brookly and Ryan; sisters & brothers-in-law: Cheryl & Tony Vosmeier of Richmond, IN and Linda & Tom Petry of Prospect, OH.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, OH with the funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM.
