Michael J. Olsen

Michael J. Olsen, 61, of Eaton, OH, died, Wednesday, December 21 2016 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Born on May 28, 1955 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Gene C. & Marilyn June (Eyer) Olsen. He was a 1974 graduate of Bloomington High School in Bloomington, IL and served in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1979. In 2010 he retired from Parker Hannifin in Eaton where he was a Tool Maker for 31 years.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Ann (Olinger) Olsen; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher M. & Jennifer Olsen, Shawn A. & Rachel Olsen and James R. Olsen; sisters, Cathleen Olsen and Barbara Wallace; brothers David and Marc Olsen; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH with a funeral service immediately following. Pastor Rick Tennison will officiate. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Verona Cemetery, Verona, OH.
