Michael Davis Benedict

Michael Davis Benedict, 58, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 25, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mike was a retired Journeyman/Lineman for the L.E. Myers Company in Indianapolis, Indiana after 40 years of service. Member of the IBEW Local 369, Louisville, Kentucky. He loved classic vehicles, hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with family, friends, and his horses.   

Preceded in death by his Father: Melvin Lee Benedict; Granddaughter: Natasha Benedict and “Great Granny”: Mary Terry. 

Survived by his Wife of 24 years: Tina (Woofter) Benedict; Mother: Drucilla (Long) Benedict; Children: Michael Lee Benedict, Jeffrey Benedict, April Benedict, Whitney Benedict, Sydney Benedict and Lexi Benedict. Siblings: Shelly (Bobby) King and Kimberly Sue (Clem) Mason. 10 Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews. 

A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4 – 6 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH. Graveside service will be held in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Highland, Kentucky. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you are required to wear a facemask prior to entering the funeral home and practice social distancing.
