MERRITT W. REECE II, age 75, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Greenbriar Nursing Center. Born on July 26, 1929 in Hudson, Michigan, he was the son of the late Merritt W. & Rosa (Badders) Reece, Sr. He owned and operated Good Eaton Candy Company in Eaton, Ohio for 6 years. He also was a school bus driver for Bright Local School District in Hillsboro, Ohio for 14 years. He was a Pastor at Hillsboro First Church of God for 13 years. Member of the Eaton First Church of God. Preceded in death by Grandson: Timothy Trader in 1999; Sister: Jean Bobon in 1999.

Survivors include Wife of 56 years: Wanda L. (Wolf) Reece; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Merritt W. & Casey Reece III of Cincinnati, Ohio and Bradley & Mindy Reece of New Paris, Ohio; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Beverly & William Trader of Eaton, Ohio, Becky & John Reece Morrett of Eaton, Ohio, Betsy & Brent Anspaugh of West Alexandria, Ohio, Barbara & Joe Nickell of Eaton, Ohio, and Beth & Allan Reynolds of Eaton, Ohio; 20 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) - Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Eaton First Church of God - 601 East Lexington Road - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2005 at the Church from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. (Ohio Time)
