Melvin D. Fryman, 92, of Huber Heights, Ohio, formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on December 3, 1928 in Brookville, Ohio, he was the son of the late George W. & Oma (Mills) Fryman. Melvin worked for 33 plus years at Delco Products, Division of GM in Moraine, Ohio. A 1947 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School and a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. Past member of the American Legion - James E. Ryan Pos t#322, West Alexandria, Ohio and VFW Post #3288, Brookville, Ohio. Melvin loved fishing, bowling, golfing, and coaching baseball in his younger years and was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his Brothers: Herschel Lowell Fryman in 1928 and Emerson E. Fryman in 1963.
Survived by his Wife of 67 years: Marilyn E. (Miller) Fryman; Sons: Steven (Constance) Fryman and Stan (Jeanie) Fryman; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio. No Public Calling.
