Melvena Foust, age 80, of New Paris, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, November 8, 2006 at Friends Fellowship in Richmond, IN. Born on March 29, 1926 in Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of Melvin & Emma (Rush) Harris. Co-Owner & Operator of Wiley Foust Nursery of New Paris. Member of the Richmond Senior Citizens; attended the First Baptist Church in New Paris and Bible Study Fellowship of Richmond. Preceded in death by Brother: John Craig, Jr.

Survivors: Husband of 62 years: Wiley Francis Foust; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Lorrie & Janell Foust of New Paris; Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Melody D. & Greg Hassler of Brookville, OH.; Connie A. & Dan R. Shelley of Chillicothe, OH and Kathy D. & E. Lee Ransbottom of Oxford, AL. Brother: James Craig of FL.; 9 Grandchildren: Justin Shelley, Joshua Shelley, Jason Ransbottom, Brandon Ransbottom, Forrest Foust, Lyden Foust, Erin Hassler, Amber Hassler and Summer Maurer. 4 Great Grandchildren: Kaleb Ransbottom, Morghan Foust, Raedhyn Foust and Sabhyr Foust.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church - 6751 S.R. 320 - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Reggie Osborn officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 11, 2006 two hour prior to the service at the church.
