Maxine A. Eley

MAXINE A. ELEY, age 79 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Monday, January 2, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare Center of New Lebanon, Ohio after a lengthy illness. Born on May 15, 1926 in Castine, Darke County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Frank Thomas & Grace (Shepherd) Huston. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed gardening and caring for her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. She is preceded in death by her Sisters: Marjorie Robison in 1997 and Glenna Rankin in 2003.

She is survived by her Husband of 60 years: Donald E. Eley; Son & Daughter-in-law: Alan E. & Kathy Eley and Daughter & Son-in-law: June E. & David Watts all of Lewisburg. Grandchildren: Jason (Beth) Watts, Vanessa and Greg Eley; Great Grandchildren: Tanner and Taylor Watts; Sisters: Helen Morris and Dola Muth both of Lewisburg. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Brent L. Cavendish officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
