Matilda L. Archer

Matilda L. Archer, age 73 of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, August 29, 2005 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. Born September 26, 1931 in Montgomery County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Parker E. & Grace (Tigner) Springer. Preceded in death by three brothers: Ed Springer, Carl Springer and Earl Springer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lewisburg, OH.

Survived by husband of 33 years: Luther Archer; son: Michael Priser of AZ; daughter: Iona Marie Priser of Dayton, OH; step daughters: Sharon A. Gardner of Willingford, KY. and Terri J. McKown of Lewisburg, OH; brothers: Preston B. Springer of Hillsboro, OH and Parker E. Springer of Lexington, KY.; sisters: Inis Slone and Ann Jane Massie both of St. Paris, OH, Grace Everhart and Ethel M. Delmonti both of Columbus, OH. 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2005 - 1:00 PM (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce St. - Lewisburg, OH. with Rev. George W. Pennington officiating. Interment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens - Brookville, OH. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
