Mary O. Lindsey

Mary O. Lindsey, 92, of Lewisburg, OH died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Brookville, OH. Mary was born on February 13, 1920 in Preble County, OH, daughter of the late Charles A. & Hazel Monet (Hapner) Kasserman. A 1937 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School, Mary was a factory worker at Stanhope in Brookville and Lewisburg Container in Lewisburg. Mary was a member of the Lewisburg Young at Heart and the Preble County Council on Aging.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Lindsey in 1989; son, Wendell "Bob" Lindsey; brother, C. Ralph Kasserman and sisters, Mabel Burnside and Martha Feitshans.

Mary is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle & Donna Lindsey of Brookville; Noel & Marcia Lindsey of West Alexandria, OH and Darrell Lindsey of Lewisburg; daughter, Marilyn Robinson of Lewisburg and sister, Mildred Emrick of Lewisburg; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
