Mary Lux

Mary Lux, age 83 of New Paris, Ohio died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on May 27, 1930 in Jackson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Daniel & Dora Alice (Gentry) Carmack.

Preceded by her husband, John F. Lux in 1979; brothers, Carlos Carmack, Lloyd Carmack in 1921; Hence Carmack in 2004 and Rev. Hearon "Tod" Carmack in 2004; sisters, Callie Langdon in 1990, Elizabeth Langdon in 2004, Edna Mae Baker in 2009 and Elsie Gabbard.

Survivors include her son, John D. (Jaylene) Lux of Brookville, Ohio; daughter, Diane (Roger) Rucinski of Wisconsin; sister, Helen Johnson of New Paris, Ohio; brother, Robert Carmack of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren, Mathew (Kristen) Lux, Ashleigh (Blake) Etherington, Lauren (Terry Neece) Lux, Ben (Hillary Johnson) Rucinski, Landa (Chad Dean) Rucinski, Grant Rucinski; ten great grandchildren, Morgan Etherington, Evelyn Lux, Adilyn Lux, Katelyn Thompson, Liam Neece, Evan Neece, Terilyn Neece, Dylan Reimer, Aubryelle Rucinski and Trevor Johnson.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with the funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
