Mary E. Stewart

Mary E. Stewart, 87, of Eaton, OH and formerly of New Paris, OH, died Friday, February 08, 2013 in Eaton. Born on December 10, 1925 in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Fannie (Jackson) Farwig. Mary was a 1942 graduate of Richmond High School, was cook for C.R. Coblentz Elementary School for 17 years and was a former co- owner and operator of the Countryside Restaurant in New Paris.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Paul Stewart in 1997; son, Michael E. Stewart in 1992 and her brothers, Lafayette and Edward Farwig.

She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Linda K. (Fred) Hodapp, Eaton, OH; son, John E. Stewart, Monroe, OH; grandchildren, Brandy Thompson, Amy Stewart and Timothy Stewart.; two great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Rev. Joseph Hodapp officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
