Mary C. Studebaker

Mary C. Studebaker, 87, of Lewisburg, OH, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Good Samaritan North Hospital in Englewood, OH. Mary was born on October 8, 1928 in Harrison Township, Preble County, OH the daughter of the late Herbert & Mabel (Hapner) Shiverdecker. She retired in 1976 after 30 years of service at Chrysler Corporation in Dayton and also worked at Dayton Associated Insurance Agency in Dayton, OH. Member of Lewisburg United Church of Christ and was the Secretary Treasurer of the Lewisburg High School Alumni Association. She was the Co Grand Marshall for the Lewisburg Derby Days and was an avid fan of Indiana University.

Survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Diana & Kenny King of Union, Ohio; brother: Martin "Bud" Shiverdecker of Eaton, OH; sister: Clara Bonfig of Brookville, OH and niece: Pam Bonfig of Brookville, OH.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 11:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Seth Schlotterbeck and Chris Sturm officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH.
