Mary Ann Hofacker

Mary Ann (Gardner) Hofacker, 71, of Eaton, Ohio, died Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Kettering Health-Dayton Campus. She was born on November 10, 1950, in Gratis, Ohio, daughter of the late Arthur Martin and Mary Catherine (Reece) Gardner, Sr. Mary Ann was a cook for over 20 years at St. Clair Academy in Eaton and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 2022 in Eaton.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Ann Hofacker in 1973.

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Eugene “Butch” Hofacker; brother, Arthur Martin Gardner, Jr.; sister, Alice Catherine Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
