Marvin J. Archer

MARVIN J. ARCHER, age 90, of Lewisburg, OH died Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at Heartland of Eaton. Born on December 25, 1922 in Campbell Co., Tennessee, he was the son of the late Henry & Julia Ann (Walden) Archer. Marvin retired in 1986 after 30 years with Wayne Works in Richmond, IN. He was a W.W. II U.S. Army Veteran.

Preceded in death by Wife of 65 years: Mabel Elizabeth (Kenworthy) Archer in 2009; Daughter: Judy Heindl in 1977; Grandson: Jerry Baker Jr. in 1996; Great Grandson: Jeffrey Jones, Jr. in 1993 and 2 infant sons; Sisters: Flossie Fudge, Minnie Gibson, Oma Ray, Nola Carback and Thelma Kehr; Brother: Clarence Elmer Archer.

Survived by Daughter: Diane I. Current, Eaton, OH; Grandchildren: Robert & Paula Heindl of Eaton, OH; Daniel & Kerri Heindl of VA; Gail & William Werner of Lewisburg, OH; Crystal & John Fox of West Milton, OH; Brian & Shawn Heindl of Versailles, OH; Numerous Great Grandchildren; and Great Great Grandchildren; & Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Doug Bottles officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
