Marnita Irene Spencer

Marnita Irene (Robinson) Spencer, age 61, of New Paris, Ohio died on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.  Born on September 12, 1962 in Greenville, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Edward "Bob” & Sharon Kay (Mullins) Robinson.

Marnita loved to spend time with her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren/littles.  She really enjoyed sitting on her front porch with a milkhouse coke and a smoke. 

Preceded by her husband, Floyd Dale Spencer who passed away in 2022.

Survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth (Primo) Castellanos and Sarah Jo (Drew) Spencer-Merrett; six grandchildren, Cody (Casey) Williams, Breanna (Chase) Brittenham, Carlos (Haley) Osorio, Johnathon (Jaelynn) Stanaford, Jadelyn (Elijah) Jones, Spencer Merrett and a miracle baby on the way; nine great grandchildren, Elliott, Kyson, Charlee, Julian, Mariana, Gabriella, Lylah, Jaxon and Mateo; brothers, Rodney (Tina) Robinson and James (Johanna) Robinson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Rodney Dunn officiating.  Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the funeral.
