Mark S. Swindler

Mark S. Swindler, age 67 of West Alexandria, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021.  Born on August 6, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late, Vernon Eugene & Roberta Ann (Bruns) Swindler. 

Mark retired after 30+ years with Preble County Board of DD and Choices in Community Living.  After retirement, Mark & Barb enjoyed traveling to domestic and international locations.  He loved playing his drums, entering his classic truck in car shows, camping and ATV riding. 

Preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Darrell Wickerham. 

Survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara (Clark) Swindler; children, Chad-Michael E. Swindler and Danielle "Dani" E. (Dustin) Nutt; sister, Jackie Wickerham; granddaughter, Bailey Nutt; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Family has requested all who attend come in jeans and a ball cap, nothing fancy. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 31, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio.  Interment will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Friday.
