Mark David Lindsey

Mark David Lindsey, 36, of Springfield, MO, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017. He was born December 14, 1980 in Greenville, OH to Connie and Robert Lindsey. Mark was a graduate of Arcanum High School and had been a full-time student at Franklin University. He was formerly living in Greenville, and had just recently moved to Springfield, where he was currently staying with his father. He had a new job working at “Under Cover”, a manufacturer of pick-up truck covers, and was planning to return to college this Fall to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science. Mark was a quiet person, who was good at art and enjoyed music and concerts. He enjoyed chess & puzzles, playing frissbee golf with friends, canoeing & kayaking. Mark was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Annabelle Baker & Phyllis Bowers; grandfathers, Claude Lindsey & Levi Baker; brother Matthew “Matt” Lindsey.

Survivors include his mother, Connie (Bowers) Lindsey of Eldorado; father, Robert L. Lindsey of Missouri; grandfather, Dale Bowers of New Paris; uncles: William Lindsey of Camden, Lynn (Rosemary) Ware of Georgia, Mike Bowers of New Paris, aunt Tammy Bowers of Eldorado.

A memorial service for Mark D. Lindsey will be held at the First Universalist Church, 160 Monroe St. Eldorado, Ohio at 1:00PM Monday, October 30, 2017. A short Inurnment will follow immediately at Monroe Cemetery, Kimmel Rd., Eldorado, Oh. Pastor Kathy Brawley has been asked to officiate. Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St. Eldorado, OH is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials indicating Mark’s name, may be made to your favorite charity.
