Marjorie K. Geeting

Marjorie K. Geeting, age 93, of Eaton, OH died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. She was born on April 1, 1922 in Estill County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Joseph Robert and Nellie (Blackwell) Hall. Marjorie was a 1941 graduate of Camden High School and was retired from NCR in Dayton. She was a founding member and director of the Preble County Council on Aging in Eaton and at one time owned and operated a furniture store in Eaton.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Geeting in 1998; sisters, Annie Hall, Reva Hartman, Gladys Wilson, Fannie Cole and Betty Ashman; brothers, Evan "Sonny", Luther and Marvin Hall.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Cheryl Geeting of Eaton; sister, Lucy Hedger of Hollansburg, OH; grandchildren, Neil Geeting, Amy Anderson and Scott (Cindy) DuVall; great grandchildren, Dalton and Cory Crutcher and Lauren and Taylor DuVall; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Ned Noble officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
