Marjorie Blankenship Miller

MARJORIE "MARGIE" BLANKENSHIP MILLER, 91, of Clearwater, Florida, died June 30, 2016 in San Clemente, CA. Born on April 12, 1925 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Orpha (Evans) Blankenship. Marjorie was a 1943 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School and earned her BA in Education from Wright State University. She taught from 1979 - 1980 at the Pinellas Educational Technical Institute in Clearwater, FL and from 1980 - 1997 at the Tomlinson Adult Learning Center in St. Petersburg, FL. She served as a substitute teacher at both schools from 1997 to 2013. A member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International in Greenville, OH and member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo, FL where she served in the Stephen Ministry at the church and served in the Sanctuary Choir.

Preceded in death by her Sisters: Jo Ann Snavely and Helen Moyer; Son Michael Lee Miller and Daughter: Kathleen Fay Applegate.

Survived by Sisters: Pauline Shiverdecker and Judith B. Bennett; Daughter-in-law: Judy Miller; Daughters & Son-in-law: Donna Jean (Roy) Miller Kopka, Pamela Sue Miller Hopper. 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00A.M., Monday, July 11, 2016 at the First United Church of Christ, 400 North Main Street, Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Monday, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
