Marion Arthur Fuchs

MARION ARTHUR “Foxy” FUCHS, age 74, formerly of New Paris,(Campbellstown) Ohio , passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005, at DeBoer Nursing Home in Muskegon, Michigan. Born on July 6, 1930 in Franklin County, Indiana to Arthur “Pat” & Ella “Maye” (Hutchinson) Fuchs . Marion was raised in Butler County, Ohio and attended Ross High School. Marion lived and farmed in Preble County for more than fifty years. He was active with the Boy Scouts and was a Scout Master from 1952 to 1956 for Troop # 210 in Campbellstown. He was also active with the FFA and the Farm Bureau. He was a devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church in Richmond, Indiana. Marion moved to Muskegon, Michigan in November 2004 to enjoy his children and grandchildren for the remainder of his days. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Marion is survived by his sister: Shirley(Roy)Swadner of Eaton; daughters: Beverle (Jerry) Hines of Muskegon, Michigan, Brenda (Bill) Kiracofe of Twin Lake, Michigan (formerly of Preble County) and Barbara(Doug) Marken of Florida; Five granddaughters, two grandsons and two great -granddaughters. He is also survived by nieces Colleen Koontz(Michael) Wooden and Krista Koontz (Todd) Davis and one nephew: Trad(Carolyn) Raper; four great nephews and one great niece.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. (Ohio time) on Friday, June 24, 2005 at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Pastor John D. Place officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris. Relatives and friends will meet his family from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Ohio Time) on Friday, June 24, 2005 at the funeral home.
