Marilyn L. Yenger

Marilyn L. Yenger, 71, of Huber Heights, OH, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. She was born Feburary 6, 1937 in Richmond, IN, the daughter of Wallace & Estella (Sanderson) Jones. She was a graduate of Monroe High School, West Manchester, OH.

Marilyn retired in 1996 from Children's Services, Montgomery County. She loved to cook and bake, and delighted in giving neighborhood gifts of her delicious treats. She was a writer of poetry, having several of her poems published by the Poetry Society. As she became confined to her home, she found great fun in playing Nintendo. Above all she was devoted to her family, and was always there for them when they needed to talk.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William F. Yenger Jr. (1993).

She is survived by 4 children: Randall S. Myers & wife Marie of San Antonio, TX, Paula S. Myers of Huber Heights, OH, Scott A. Myers & wife Lisa of Denver, CO, April L. (Yenger) Clark & husband Phillip of Huber Heights, OH; 10 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; Sister-In-Law: Sally Josefczyk.

The funeral service for Marilyn L. Yenger will be Tuesday, August 26, 11:00AM at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado, OH 45321, with Pastor Garnell Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Eldorado, OH.
