Marilyn J. Idle

Marilyn J. Idle, age 99 years, 11 months, 28 days, of Eaton, Ohio, and formerly of Springboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Hillspring of Springboro, Springboro, Ohio. Born on February 15, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Jean E. (Morse) Boldt.

Marilyn retired from DP&L and was an antique dealer. She loved traveling around the area hunting for antiques.

Preceded in death by her Husband: John J. Idle in 2012; Sister: Lois Hollenbach in 2009.

Survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law: Billie Jean (Dale) Craig; Brothers: Gerald “Jerry” (Diane) Boldt, and Thomas (Mary) Boldt; Grandchildren: Julie (Jon) Stevens and Nicole (Jon) Kleist; Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Emeric and Florian; Special friend and caregiver: Todd M. Miller; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main St., Eaton, OH with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
