Marilyn A. Petry

MARILYN A. (CAMPBELL) PETRY, 82, of Eaton, Ohio died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1925 in Richmond, Indiana, daughter of Paul James Campbell and Marie (Snyder) Campbell-Beane. She and her husband Lloyd J. "Pete" were the co-owners and operated Pete's Print Shop (now Kee Printing) from 1966 to 1978 . She and her husband were avid historians and contributed much time and talent to help document Preble County's long history.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd John "Pete" Petry in 1995; step-father, Lee Ora Beane 1990 and half brother, Charles Lee Beane in 2003.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, John L. & Roberta Petry and Larry M. Petry both of Eaton; sisters and brother-in-law, Isabelle Hart and Pauline & Ed Lynch both of Eaton; half-sister, Amy Houser of Arizona; granddaughters, Brenda Hunter of New Paris, Ohio and Lisa Petry-Gold of St. Paul, Minnesota; great grandchildren, Britney K. Theiss, Daytona Scott Hunter, Casey, Owen and Rachel Gold. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
